Through gentle asana and balanced breath work, we will nurture both the body and the breath promoting mental focus and clarity.
Central to the workshop, is the practice of Restorative Yoga, a therapeutic technique that seeks to counterbalance the strains and demands of modern life. Through long-held and supported postures and by creating the conditions of silence and stillness, we will deliberately reduce the activation of the fight-or-flight response, often responsible for stress and tension, while enhancing the activity of the rest-and-digest response. This shift towards the rest-and-digest state not only alleviates stress but also facilitates a deep sense of calmness and tranquility, both physically and mentally.
